Conserving Art Through Science

Art Conservatory - Our conservation methodology is founded on scholarship, thoroughness, and transparency.

Our Philosophy

Art requires constant care in order for its aesthetic and asset values to endure. Every artwork is unique and requires an individualistic approach to caring for its needs. We focus on providing curative and preventive treatments for a broad range of artwork.

We believe that process determines outcome. Our conservation methodology is founded on scholarship, thoroughness, and transparency, and we respect the historical and sentimental value of our clients’ artwork at all times during our treatment process.

We are experienced in working with a wide spectrum of materials and dates of production, from contemporary paintings to ancient sculptures. As a studio proudly based in Singapore, we adapt our treatment methods to suit tropical climate concerns and Asian artistic practices, mediums and traditions.

Consultation Process

Our professionally-trained conservators work closely with clients, listening to their needs to create personalised plans for treating works.

Clients receive a consultation by appointment, in which the condition of the artwork, concerns, and possible options are discussed before quotations are given.

We provide discreet and completely confidential services to our clients.
